Through the training course “The FOUNDATIONS of SYSTEMIC and FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS,” I offer an initial approach to the profession of Family and Systemic Constellator.

Born and raised in Germany, I experienced my first Family Constellation – as a client – in 1999 in Munich with a psychologist already working with Bert Hellinger’s method.
I met Bert Hellinger in 2001 and Sophie Hellinger in 2004, continuing to do several constellations with them. In 2008, I started my training at the Hellinger®lebenSchule in Germany, traveling monthly from Sicily. During the first year of training, I couldn’t stop crying as I processed my personal experiences. Therefore, I felt it necessary to ‘repeat’ the first year. One never stops working on oneself, but at least the initial ‘soul pain’ was eased, and my mind was clearer to grasp and integrate the fundamental concepts of Bert Hellinger’s method.
I graduated in 2012, also accrediting my path through the European registry of the Université Européenne Jean Monnet in Brussels, an association regulating the profession not yet recognized in Italy. My thesis focused on the importance of ‘lost’ children for the family system within Family Constellations, with particular attention to disappeared twins.

In 2009, I started translating for Bert Hellinger.
For many years, I translated his writings for the monthly journal, initially printed and then online, “Aiuti alla Vita,” later compiled into a book published by the publishing house “Tecniche Nuove” in Milan.
Later, I translated Bert’s “Sunday Sermons,” which were published weekly for two years. Finally, I translated his autobiography, “Mein Leben, mein Werk,” also published by Tecniche Nuove.

From 2009 to 2019, I translated during seminars and Camps not only for Bert and Sophie Hellinger but also for the teachers of the Hellinger®lebenSchule at that time, including Schricker, Kaden, Prekop, Deußer, Weser, and Walper.

I followed all the developments of the Family Constellations method from 2001 to 2019, from the traditional ones to Bert Hellinger’s “Geistiges Familien- und Systemaufstellen.” In German, the term “geistig” has nothing to do with spirituality. I recall the discussions about the most appropriate term to express Bert Hellinger’s concept of “spirituality,” which has nothing to do with the misuse and abuse of the term in subsequent years. I actively participated in shaping a suitable language to properly discuss this new approach to constellations. In 2009, the term “entanglement” did not exist in Italian. I coined the term, which has since become commonly used in constellations.

I hold a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literature in German and English. I am registered with the Chamber of Commerce as a Translator and Interpreter and am a Certified Court Translator and Interpreter for the Civil and Juvenile Courts. Beyond interpreting, I have always carefully weighed the words used, whether for court – which judged the words spoken by the defendants – or during translations for Bert and Sophie Hellinger and their teachers.

Some find it curious to claim that I advertise myself through my relationship with Bert Hellinger over the years or that I merely interpret his words as others do. I consider 10 years of experience translating his words and 15 years of professional activity as a Constellator practicing his method an added value.

I also find it curious to be accused of distorting the Family Constellations method by introducing the Twin System.
Nature never relies on a single specimen. Life is always abundance. Only an exaggerated amount of life ensures nature’s success and the continuation of life. Humanity would not have survived as a species if this weren’t true for us as well.
In the uterus, during the early days, a fertilized ovum is a ‘factory’ of totipotent stem cells from which everything is generated through splitting: placentas, amniotic fluid sacs, amniotic fluid, umbilical cords, and embryonic organisms – many embryonic organisms.
Life is generated equally for all, and we are all twins and part of a Twin System. Our amniotic fluid sac is our first Social System and our first Belonging System. It is the first system within which we have our place. The first interrupted movement occurred here, where body and relationship are one.
As the surrounding embryonic organisms disappear, we lose belonging and our place.
In Family Constellations, we aim to resolve the disorientation this first experience produces, seeking belonging and our place – which, in objective reality, should be clear and understandable through simple birth data but is incomprehensible in every future system we approach due to the subjective perception of our physical identity shaped within our Twin System and structurally part of our physical memory anchored in the brainstem and limbic system. Thus, in Family Constellations, we revisit the dynamics of parents, partners, and profession.

The Twin System is an autonomous morphogenetic field preceding the family system. Being a system, we can observe within it the Orders of Love and the various Dimensions of Consciousness as identified and formulated by Bert Hellinger.
In other words, it is Bert’s work applied to the Twin Morphogenetic Field.
Without the Twin System, we could endlessly work on parents, partners, and professions. The interrupted movement would persist, draining all our energy.
It is the body that does not move, not due to the historical content of family system experiences. Instead, it is due to a physical matrix originating from the interrupted movement toward the twin, for whom parents, partners, and professions serve as substitutes.
If I do not become aware of the bond and interrupted movement toward the twin, I will not flow back into life. Every movement will cyclically return to the zero point.

Contrary to what many might think, science does not seek the truth. Its true purpose is rather to search for better questions. We conduct experiments because there is something we do not know and want to learn more about, and sometimes these experiments fail. But what we learn from our ignorance and mistakes paves the way for new questions and new uncertainties. And these are better questions and uncertainties that lead to new experiments. And so on.

Let’s consider my field, neurobiology. For about fifty years, the fundamental question regarding the sensory system has been: what information is transmitted to the brain? For example, what do our eyes tell the brain? Now we are seeing a reversal of that idea: it is actually the brain that poses questions to the sensory system. It may be that the brain does not merely sift through vast amounts of visual information, coming, for instance, from the eye, but instead asks the eye to search for specific information. In science, there are inevitably unanswered questions and small dead ends. Even when you think you have clarified everything, there is always something new and unexpected. But uncertainty has value. It should not cause anxiety: it is an opportunity.

Starting in September, alongside the training course
“Constellations and Twin System – Freni® Method” focused on supporting the Surviving Twin,
I am offering the training program
“The Basics of Family and Systemic Constellations”
through the application method I learned during my training.

Registrations are open, and I invite you to participate starting from September 30, 2023, in five 8-hour sessions.
I have emphasized practical exercises in phenomenological observation, as well as attention to the body and the words used by clients. There will also be a theoretical component based on Bert Hellinger’s texts.

The 40-hour training will be a first step for those considering becoming a family constellation facilitator and wish to orient themselves before committing to a more demanding path. These 40 hours will be recorded and validated for future courses if one decides to continue with more advanced training.
